Like all churches St. Clement's has responsibility both to raise money for charitable causes and also to maintain and preserve our wonderful building. We are always very grateful for the generosity and kindness of so many people, both those who worship at St. Clement's and those who value our life. St. Clement's Church is maintained entirely by the generosity of private individuals (time, talent and money) and through tireless fundraising and grant applications. It costs over £300 a day to keep St. Clement's open and active.

Our 2020 Leigh Lights Fair is not going ahead.
We pray that next year things will be back to normal so that whether you're hosting a stall, or popping in to look around for that perfect Christmas gift, or just for a cup of tea, these are wonderfully festive and friendly events.
All proceeds go to charity.

We have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 May Fair, it is clear that it cannot go ahead. If, closer to the time, it will be safe to put on a Spring event this will be held in church, but only if it is completely safe to do so. Watch this space for updates. We pray that the May Fair can return in 2022, bigger and better.
