PARISH MASS
Our Parish mass is held at 9.30am every Sunday followed by biscuits, tea & cake.
Anyone can join, Christian or not, to embrace our long continuity of tradition, culture
and mingle with the Leigh-on-sea community.

Low Sunday, The Second Week of Easter
In this Sunday’s gospel reading we hear the story of Doubting Thomas – the disciple who struggled to believe the resurrection: “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands... I will not believe”, Thomas protested.
He is a relatable figure for many of us.
We have since relied on the accounts of these first Christians to help give form to our own inner experiences of God. However, even more than that first generation, we are able to look to the great works God continues to do through us, his people.
We are those whose faith in the resurrection is “turning the world upside down”.
